Prologue: Let the Raiding Begin

Standard

Shaela Amaya had finally arrived in her new town. Little Okinawa, a beautiful town with a storied past, and now it was her home.

ShaelaArrivesInTown

She was transferred here as punishment, for doing her job and standing up for what was right. Her old precinct had been as corrupt as a certain football governing body, and she was probably the only true cop on the force.

NewHome

Their loss, Little Okinawa’s gain. Her new house was gorgeous, and the neighbourhood was just as picturesque. When she’d walked the neighbourhood earlier, she noticed a few odd things.

There were some… interesting townies out and about, it was almost like it was Comic-Con 24/7.

And that wasn’t all, everyone just seemed so… angry.

AngryMeatball

Especially this guy. It was something worth mentioning to her new chief when she went to work tomorrow. Until then, it was time to check out her new home.

It was tiny. Shaela was used to larger spaces, but it was just so cute she couldn’t help but smile.

She walked upstairs and found her bedroom. A bed, a desk with a computer, a dresser, and a home-gym was all there was to this level. I can make this work, she thought to herself as she descended the steps again to prepare her dinner.

CookingDinner

Fresh fish, purchased at the market from across the street was on the menu for dinner tonight.

EatingDinner

After putting away the leftovers, Shaela savoured the smell of the dish before wolfing it down. When she’d finished cleaning her dishes, she looked at her watch. Deciding that it was still too early for bed, Shaela sat down in front of the TV to watch a movie.

So enthralled in the plot, she was oblivious to the mischief occurring behind her.

TargetInSight

This little pig and her five little friends had one thing in sight. And nothing was going to stop them. Shaela was about to get hit by ninjapig & the Foodie Five.

RaidingTime3

They almost got caught as Shaela thought that someone was watching her. Perhaps it was too soon for this cheeky group to strike? Perhaps they should wait until the human went to bed?

So they waited, and before long the human had disappeared upstairs. The lights turned off, and ninjapig let out a sneaky oink. Except before they could start their raid the lights turned on and they heard footsteps.

HearingNoises

“I’m sure I heard something!” Shaela muttered to herself.

HearingNoises2ItsNothing

“Oh well… I guess it was nothing.”

Bedtime

She climbed the stairs again and hopped into bed. The lights switching off once more.

It was time to strike!

*sneaky oink*

*quiet kitteh meows*

*magical unicorn prancing*

*dainty dinosaur moves*

*silent wing flapping*

*stealthy pumpkin noises*

Another day, another raid. And there’s nothing better than a full fridge!

Hehehe…I love the shots of the fridge, like an alter. A mysterious monolith, a destination for sure. I bet they like to raid newcomers fridges quickly to get an idea of what kind of foods will be stocked there.

  2. Hehehe I love the townies! I can’t believe Little Okinawa didn’t notice her fridge was being raided. Oh, well, more food for NinjaPig and The Foodie Five! And the corrupt football governing body analogy, that is quite possibly my favourite analogy of all time!

  3. So THAT’s what she was up to while I was out tonight!

*ninjapig snorts in her sleep and rolls over*

What a hearty feast! 🙂 Pumpkin’s startled expression is the best!

Also, I love Shaela’s home! So cozy and well furnished.

YaY, it’s starting and what a great beginning too! It cracked me up to see everyone walking around town so angry. What could possibly be wrong with everyone, lol
